Visibility and control with Granlund Manager in St Petersburg

Granlund Manager has been able to increase visibility and control in the property management services of OOO Are in St Petersburg. Everyone in the service organization knows exactly the status of the tasks, and what to do next. These in turn can lead to significantly decreased response times.

Are is Finland’s largest building services company that offers life-cycle building services contracting and property maintenance services that ensure customers have energy-efficient premises and pleasant indoor conditions. Are Group was founded over 100 years ago and employs approximately 2,900 people all over Finland and also in St Petersburg, Russia.

Are uses Granlund Manager to support its property management services in Finland and in the St. Petersburg region. One of the properties managed by Are’s subsidiary OOO Are in St Petersburg is a Logistics Centre of Logicor Oy. The Centre has four tenants and a total area of over 61,000 m2.

Faster service and concrete measures to save energy

Granlund Manager is a tool for property management and reporting – and in the latter, both for the owner and tenants of the property.  The target is also to transfer service requests to maintenance technicians faster than before, which can decrease the response times significantly. With Granlund Manager, Are can take concrete measures to save energy.

“Granlund Manager is used by our service organization as a service request channel and an energy reporting tool. It is also used as a budgeting and monitoring tool for investments and repairs. The system gives to our customers and us visibility and control. Everyone in our organization knows exactly the status of the tasks, and what to do next,” says Sergey Khotyanovsky, Property Manager of OOO Are.

Are’s active role in smooth implementation

The cooperation between Are and Granlund Manager started already in autumn 2016. Are has been active in building the content in the system, supported by the Granlund Manager team.

“We had the user training in last autumn, and after that we have organized Skype meetings to further support the implementation. This way we can make sure that the deployment goes smoothly and really gives additional value to the everyday process,” assures Otto Åkerberg, Regional Manager of Granlund.
