Granlund Manager enters successfully to Middle East markets
First deals signed in Dubai and Doha.
Granlund has signed the first pilot agreement in Qatar with Century Hotel in Doha. Jyrki Pikkarainen and Jan Pawli have visited Middle East three times during this fall and they are very excited to see that marketing activities are paying off.
- Our last visit to Dubai and Doha was success. We signed first pilot and managed also to negotiate the first deals with british hotel chain. They ordered Granlund Manager software for their hotels in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, Middle East Regional Manager Jyrki Pikkarainen sums up the trips benefits.
Purpose of all the three trips has been to meet potential customers and also to understand the needs of the use of Granlund Manager software in the region.
- During these trips to Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Doha we met representatives of FM companies, owner association management companies, hotel operators, shopping mall chain and system integrators.
Main sectors in Granlund Manager software is energy management, preventive and reactive maintenance and also Capex. Pikkarainen tells that trips to Middle East have clarified the needs on the area.
- We have understood that energy management services are provided by several building automation companies and the competition is high. That’s why we need to focus on the management of the preventive and reactive maintenance processes. That also includes CAPEX management.
In addition of the new pilot agreement Granlund is also negotiating software sales with company that has over 100 shopping centers in over 30 countries.
- The first impression of the Middle East market in whole looks good. This gives an opportunity to increase our sales effort in the region for the year 2016, Pikkarainen concludes.
